Teeth Whitening

What is Teeth Whitening?

Teeth whitening is a cosmetic dental procedure aimed at achieving a lighter and more aesthetic appearance by removing stains and discoloration from the surface of the teeth. It typically involves the use of special whitening gels containing hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide. The procedure can be performed under a dentist’s supervision in a clinic or applied at home using take-home whitening kits. While it effectively whitens natural teeth, it does not change the color of fillings, crowns, or dentures. Temporary sensitivity may occur after the treatment, but it is usually short-lived.
